TN govt orders staff to wear traditional Indian & Tamil Attire

India has always been a country who is rich in cultural and traditional outfits. Both Indian men & women love to wear traditional attires on every occasion including the formal ones, like the office. Though office rule says you should wear something formal, still young working people prefer casual wear for office too. So, to maintain the decorum of working place, Tamil Nadu’s government has come up with traditional dress code for employees. For this, the TN government has issued two government orders, stating, which attires fall in the category of office wear. The order is issued by Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu, Girija Vaidyanathan. Through the first Government Order dated May 28, 2019, the government had amended the “Tamil Nadu Secretariat Office Manual”.

The government order affirms that staff must avoid casual wears and wear clothes that represent Indian & Tamil culture. The category of formal wear of female government servants includes saree, salwar kameez and churidar with dupatta in “sober color”. For male government servants, the category includes, shirt with formal pants or veshti (dhoti) depicting Tamil culture. “Veshti” was added in this category with second order dated June 1, 2019, through an amendment in the previous GO.

Similar to all other amendments, this one too has few supporters as well as few opponents. But the difference in views is not going to change the amendment that is already made. Now, government servants in Tamil Nadu have to add soberer traditional outfits to their closet. This new amendment by Tamil Nadu’s government is being the talk of the town.

NEETI MOHAN’S WEDDING: A SHOWCASE OF GRANDEUR, STYLE AND LOVE

On 15th February, 2019, Bollywood ace singer, Neeti Mohan tied knot with her boy friend Nihar Pandya, an actor whose debut movie Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi was released a short while ago. When two people are in love with each other, the glow of that love and happiness is so obviously written on their faces.

What could be the happier moment than being together forever? This is what the couple decided upon. The day after the world’s celebrations of love were over (14th February, being Valentine’s Day), things began in the most beautiful manner in Hyderabad at the marvelous Falaknuma Palace.
